We are seeking a Senior Accountant who is an impact player to ensure the accuracy and integrity of the financial statements. The ideal candidate is expected to have a deep sense of ownership, ability to identify process improvement opportunities, possess solid operational and technical accounting background, and drive positive change across the organization.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the monthly, quarterly, and yearly financial close process including preparation of journal entries.
- Drive acceleration of the current GL “General Ledger” close process by identifying and leading the implementation of automation and streamlining of the monthly/quarterly close processes.
- Ensure consolidated financial statements are consistent with GAAP “Generally Accepted Accounting Principles”, including newly issued and emerging pronouncements.
- Partner and aid implementation of systems including new ERP and leverage technology to build scalable/sustainable processes to create efficiencies, streamline accounting operations and improve employee experience.
- Review expenses at a cost center level for accuracy and understanding of key trends.
- Ensure balance sheet accounts are properly calculated, supported, and reconciled utilizing the Blackline tool.
- Prepare supporting schedules and facilitate follow-up as part of the company’s annual external audit.
- Work closely with FP&A “Financial Planning & Analysis” team on reporting efforts and monthly accruals related to budgeting and forecasting.
- Establish and own effective internal controls and appropriate accounting procedures, including evaluation of processes and controls for compliance.
- Interacts with cross-functional teams to resolve accounting challenges, drive operational improvement, and enhance financial processes.
- Continuously scale and improve current processes and policies to meet the needs of a high-growth organization.
- Complete other accounting duties as assigned including ad hoc/ impromptu projects.

Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting; CPA license or path to CPA preferred.
- 5+ years of progressive general ledger accounting experience with increasing levels of responsibilities.
- Technical and international accounting experience preferred.
- Positive attitude, ability to work well and fast under pressure, exceptional customer service.
- Results driven with a high sense of urgency, taking ownership and ability to work in a fast-paced environment with competing priorities.
- Solid understanding of GAAP, general accounting processes and internal controls, and financial analysis tools.
- Intermediate-level experience using SAP and Excel.
